Methods for cyanotoxins detection [Cianotoksinų nustatymo metodai]

Abstract Global occurrence and concern about microcystin contamination, the potential consequences of exposure to cyanobacterial toxins in recreational and drinking waters promoted the development of numerous methods to detect the toxin and their producers as well as identification and quantification of toxins. In current study we overview numerous methods that have been developed for the cyanotoxin analysis. We discuss advantages and shortages of their applications to solve different questions.
